According to the GB standard of Technical Code for Fire Water Supply and Hydrant Systems, pressure start, remote start and hard wire start are all realized by relays to automatically start the pump. If the relay and weak current signal fail to automatically start the fire pump, the fire pump should be directly started by relying on the "mechanical emergency starting device" set in the fire pump control cabinet. The "mechanical emergency starting device" is a device that can directly start the fire pump through direct transmission of mechanical interlocking device. The device can be configured with star delta start and step-down start. The starting handle of "mechanical emergency starting device" is usually in a stopped state (with lock), and must be operated by authorized management personnel in case of emergency fire. The output of the "mechanical emergency starting device" is connected with the output terminal in the original control cabinet to realize direct emergency starting of the fire pump. When starting, the manual start handle is pressed 90 °, the fire pump is started by star triangle start and depressurization start according to the electrical equipment, and the pump is stopped manually by the person with management authority (the pump cannot be stopped automatically or manually in case of fire alarm).
